Our client, based in Stoke is currently recruiting for Stock Condition Surveyor on a 6 month temporary contract . Our client is an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects worldwide.


The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rates are:

  • £24 LTD per survey for Houses/Blocks
  • £16 LTD per survey for Flats
  • Additional £2 per survey if exceed 40 surveys a week


The ideal candidate will have a background in repairs and maintenance or building surveying and also have Stock Condition Surveying experience in social housing properties.


Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately
  • Using knowledge and understanding of fire safety compliance including approved document part B
  • Recording all information and data on electronic handheld devices
  • Liaising and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out
  • Working in accordance with changing legislations, as well as H&S policies and procedures


Experience required:

  • Stock Condition Surveying experience for social housing properties
  • Experience booking in appointments to conduct surveys


Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Must hold a full UK driving license
