Job Vacancy: Quality Inspector
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £11.75 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week + overtime when available
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00 to 15:30, Friday 7:00 to 12:30
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our clients team in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading global manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
* Utilize mathematical understanding of trigonometry and measurement error.
* Perform “first principle” inspections using a range of measurement equipment.
* Proficiently use all Microsoft Office packages.
* Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
* Demonstrate self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a hands-on approach.
* Show a drive to develop skills and abilities.
Requirements:
* Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
* Strong mathematical skills, particularly in trigonometry and measurement error.
* Ability to perform precise inspections with various measurement tools.
* Competency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
* Eagerness to develop skills and contribute to the team.
