Are you a skilled nurse looking for a flexible role with a leading cancer care provider? Our client is seeking an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver oncology treatments directly in patients' homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a community-based setting.
Our client is a nationally recognised provider of cancer care, dedicated to offering exceptional treatment and support to patients within their communities. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality care in a compassionate and patient-focused manner.
Enjoy the flexibility of working 30 to 37.5 hours per week, with shifts available from Monday to Friday. With a competitive rate of £43 - £48 per hour, based on experience, you'll be well-compensated for your expertise.
Package and Benefits:
Hourly rate of £43 - £48, based on experience
Mileage expenses covered
Guaranteed agency shifts
Ongoing contract for a minimum of 3-6 months
No bank holiday work
As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll be responsible for:
Administering IV and oral chemotherapy treatments at patients' homes
Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments
Ensuring patient safety and comfort during treatments
Working with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Maintaining accurate patient records
Travelling to various locations within the community
Adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines
The ideal Agency Chemotherapy Nurse will have:
An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN
Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture
A valid driving licence
A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
