Salary: £12.00 per hour (£23,400 per annum) plus benefits
Hours: from 37.5 hours contract per week, shift patterns: variable, Monday to Sunday (Every other weekend), funded professional qualifications
Employment Type:  Full time, Permanent

We are recruiting for Support Workers who are calm and patient. As a support worker, you will be part of an experienced staff team working within a busy and vibrant home where no two days are the same.
We are looking for a Support Worker, to support the 4 semi-independent adults in our supported living home. You will be creative in ensuring that the four people we support are safe, happy, constantly evolving, and are empowered to live the life that they choose.
Support worker duties include:
Daily activities such as cooking meals, basic cleaning tasks, medication administration (after completing relevant training), food shopping with the people we support.
Providing support for offsite activities such as attending social clubs, swimming, shopping and any other interests and appointments.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you will be supporting.
Helping the people you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims. 
Ensuring the people, you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality.
To work in accordance with SeeAbility’s valuesYou will work closely with the registered manager, deputy manager and your seniors to ensure that we are delivering the best person-centred care, outstanding delivery of support in line with our vision; inclusive communities where people with autism and learning disabilities participate as equal citizens. 
Who will you be supporting?
 
Jon Enjoys watching football, playing pool and joining social groups in the community. He also likes going swimming. He needs support and prompting to complete all daily tasks as he can easily get distracted and unfocussed. Jon needs calm and consistency in life. 
 
Jake  is 'Mr Energiser' as he is always bursting with energy He needs regular physical activities such as going out on his skate board, playing football, long walks and cooking. He is not faint hearted, as he also loves participating in banger racing Jake needs lots of support to complete tasks and to stay focussed.
 
Joe is the 'Mr Independent' of the home. He has a part time job. Enjoys playing pool, walking, going down the pub and sharing his love of rock music. Joe needs support with independent living skills as one of his goals is to live independently.
