We are looking for a dedicated Process Operative to join our team at Dungannon . In this role, you will be responsible for processing products in your department while ensuring that hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are always maintained. A key part of this role is working as part of a team to achieve production KPIs. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday - 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Key Responsibilities • Carry out processing duties (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering or evisceration – depending on the area of work).• Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times.• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.• Produce a high standard of work consistently.• Perform packaging, labelling, and boxing tasks.• Work in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.• Cooperate with managers and colleagues to achieve a safe and productive workplace.• Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly.Health & Safety Responsibilities • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.• Work in a safe manner and comply with Company Health & Safety Rules.• Wear protective clothing and equipment provided.• Report incidents or hazards immediately.What We're Looking For Essential:• Ability to read and write .• Numeracy skills.• Good communication skills.• English language proficiency .Desirable:• Good interpersonal skills.• A food hygiene qualification.• Awareness of Food Processing industry standards.• Knife handling experience.• Previous experience in a butchery or food processing environment.• Data recording or computer/keyboard skills.
