Our client, a global entertainment company are seeking a bilingual (Turkish/English) writer to join the Creative Writing Strategy team, asap. This role is perfect for an omnivorous generalist who loves to ideate on language.

The ideal candidate is a skilled writer/editor who is an expert on media and entertainment in the

Turkish

market — You will have proven proficiency in writing and editing world-class creative content in Turkish and English.

The role:nWrite synopses about Turkish (and sometimes non-turkish) movies and TV shows in English. A typical day might include writing a number of synopses a week — everything from popular action movies to low-budget indie films.nWork closely with assignment editors overseeing the workflow to ensure that you’re paired with the right titles and that your copy meets the needs of the writing briefnEmbody editorial principles to create accurate, inclusive and creative synopses that are nuanced enough to resonate with different audiences.

You:nFull native proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in Turkish, and a professional-levelnKnowledge of speaking, reading, and writing in EnglishnExperience writing or editing articles, blog posts, reviews, or feature stories about film and TVnMastery of AP style and attention to detailnResearch skills to help you gather context about titles and quickly synthesise information from a variety of sourcesnA selfless approach to contributing to a world-class editorial team
