My client is a very successful Commercial office fit out contractor with multiple blue-chip clients. They have built a solid reputation in the industry by producing projects to a very high standard.
Job role
* They require a Site Manager to oversee the completion of a refurbishment on an educational building. The project is ongoing and you will be reporting into a site-based project manager.
* As well as day to day management you will need to keep regular contact with the project management team to make sure things run smoothly. You will have a pro active approach with staff on site and ensure everything is running to program.
Experience required
- Strong background in fit out and refurbishment
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certificates required.
- Worked on projects with a value up to £750k plus
- Must be able to conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
- Must be confident in conducting site, client and progress meetings
- Be able to manage a full site program to complete projects on time and to budget
- Motivate Sub-contractors and trades on site
- Produce regular and clear progress reports
