I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Pharma and Supply Chain company in Surrey for a Build and Release Engineer to join them on a contractual basis.
The role is to join a complex migration project- migrating from legacy applications to a new SAP Platform.
The Release Engineer, plays a crucial role in the software development life cycle to bridge the gap between development and deployment/Release, ensuring smooth transitions from code to production ready .
They are essentially seeking a Build and Release Engineer to document continuous delivery processes, controls, policies and procedures, coding, QA testing, compliance certification, release and deployment
This is a “hands on role”, here are some of the key responsibilities
Creating automated processes for releasing and deploying software
Design and implementation of code management strategies
Good level knowledge of source control, build, release, configuration management tools and release governance
Experience on Azure Build Pipelines
Strong Leadership
