Newlands is a vibrant residential care home in Colchester supporting adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities to live their best lives every day As part of the Newlands family, every day will be different - you could be organising a surprise birthday party for Elaine, 'bouncing' with excitement as you celebrate Tracy's wins at her trampoline competitions, or going into town with everyone to meet all your favourite movie characters and superheroes Whatever you get up to, you'll be making lifelong memories with the people you support.
As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
