Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Data Monetization Expert to lead a comprehensive project focused on the commercialization of geospatial data across various sectors. A key aspect of this role involves defining and implementing a data monetization framework that will guide the transformation of data into valuable business assets. Experience with well-established frameworks, such as Gartner’s Data Monetization Framework , will be particularly valued, as it provides structured methodologies for maximizing the value of data assets. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, identify new revenue streams, and ensure the successful adoption of data monetization strategies.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development and implementation of data monetization strategies across multiple sectors.
  • Analyze and recommend monetization opportunities, leveraging the potential of geospatial data to unlock value.
  • Understand and apply different business models (G2G , G2B , and G2I ) to ensure effective data commercialization and stakeholder engagement.
  • Design and execute data commercialization frameworks that meet industry benchmarks and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data monetization strategies with GIS platforms and other data systems.
  • Establish KPIs to track the performance and revenue generation potential of data products.
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the value of geospatial data assets.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience in data monetization, business analytics, or digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data and experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.).
  • Proven track record in applying data monetization frameworks , with specific experience in Gartner’s Data Monetization Framework or similar frameworks.
  • Experience analyzing and developing business models such as G2G , G2B , and G2I to maximize the value of data assets.
  • Ability to design KPIs and measure the effectiveness of monetization strategies.
  • Background in business development and creating new revenue streams through data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience working across diverse teams and stakeholders.

End-to-end experience in data monetization processes across the following sectors is preferred:

Additional Information :

Candidates who express availability (under appropriate conditions and salary terms) to work on-site in a Gulf capital for 4 months a year will be viewed favorably, with the remainder of the time spent working remotely.
