Job Description


In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will demonstrate extensive software vendor and enterprise experience, inspiring expert level client confidence. You will consistently prepare proposals and support the Managing Consultant on strategy, workstreams and capability-building throughout the team, with the objective of providing high-quality and value driven consulting solutions to our customers.


You will act as a licensing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across Livingstone, supporting the wider team in the delivery of Livingstone’s Managed Services and Projects. You will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and methodology for delivery and will lead complex projects and workstreams both internally and externally.


You will be highly competent and self-sufficient in front of any stakeholder, with an ability to adapt outputs to suit client strategy and needs at an executive stakeholder level. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of real world situations and approach strategies to clients with dynamic communication styles to suit any business function: Commercial, IT, Legal etc.


What you'll be doing:


  • Leading workstreams, projects and highly complex deliveries
  • Pre Sales engagements and Delivery forecasting
  • Act as a technical leader and trusted advisor both internally and externally
  • Act as a point of contact for clients as a SME and strategic approach advisor
  • Create highly complex and effective license positions with risk remediation and opportunity realisation strategies
  • Lead Audit Defence engagements
  • Act as a quality assurance lead on all deliverables


What we are looking for:


  • 7+ years working as a Senior Consultant within the Licensing industry/sector
  • Relevant vendor / industry qualifications
  • Strong multi-vendor experience
  • Strong enterprise and IT experience and knowledge
  • Strong contractual assessment experience
  • Excellent executive level presentation skills
  • Audit defence experience and good commercial acumen
  • Ability to explain and present project and managed service solutions to customers
