Assistant Management Accountant

The role will be well suited to someone who is committed to becoming a qualified accountant. It would suit someone who is already working in industry or as a first step industry from practice. Study support will be available and there will be opportunity to develop and progress within the business as it grows.
As Assistant Management Accountant your duties will be varied and will include:
. Effective management of accounting information held in the general ledger and supporting ledgers
. Manage the fixed asset register and account for fixed assets including depreciation postings
. Allocate company credit card costs with VAT analysis. Review and develop current process
. Process standard journals for accruals and prepayments

. Process payroll entries and liaise with the Financial Accounting and Compliance team
Ideally you will be currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualifications with a good grounding in management accounts with relevant work experience.
