HGV2 Driver AM/PM

CLASS 2 DRIVER NEEDED - AM/PM ***
More Recruitment is working with a client based in the reading area, we are looking for experienced class 2 drivers that are used to doing 12 hour shift and don't mind curtain siders as most vehicles will be curtain. Normally Monday to Friday AM/PM shifts (PM shift starts at 6pm) will consist of Multi drop, each vehicle will be loaded with an electric pump truck.
* AM Rate - £14 PH
* PM Rate - £15 PH
Duties
- Safely operate lorries to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- May consist off moving pallets with a pump truck.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and delivery times.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, particularly with Curtain side vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including moving heavy Pallets when necessary.
