The role

This firm is currently seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join their West End, London office.

You will work closely alongside the firms litigation and private client departments, which are both core practice areas for the firm. Due to an influx of contentious probate work, the firm is seeking to break this off as a separate department. As such, this role comes with excellent prospects for progression . You will work closely with the Head of Departments to grow this department, you will have lots of support but also full autonomy.

You will deal with a broad contentious trusts and probates caseload. Work will involve dealing with issues of foreign assets, domicile and residence.

You will find there are good prospects for progression attached to the role, which can include a route to partnership for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • You will be a Contentious Trust and Probates Solicitor with at least five years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • You will be able to run a caseload of contentious trust and probate matters with limited supervision.
  • You should have first-class communication skills
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your background.
