We are working with our client, a Midlands-based Multi-Academy Trust to recruit an Interim CFO. This is a hybrid working arrangement with the need to be in the office on a Monday and Wednesday.
The Chief Financial Officer will play both a technical and leadership role and will take responsibility for the Trust’s detailed financial procedures. The main focus of the role will include but not be limited to:
* Inspire, lead and drive the financial shape and direction of the Trust
* Be a key member of the Trust leadership team reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer
* Oversee the financial management of the Trust, ensuring sustainability and growth
* Produce timely monthly management accounts
* Produce statutory accounts
The ideal candidate will have proven similar experience at a senior level within the Education sector and a strong track record of financial management, planning and strategy development
