Through the use of a variety of teaching materials, such as text books, worksheets, maps, computers, audio-visual aids, and interactive whiteboards
Teaching techniques include whole-class lessons, discussions, individual and group projects, and field trips
Conducting the class as a whole and assisting individual pupils as necessary
Managing discipline issues in the classroom and maintaining good order in the classroom
Maintaining a student record, including administrative duties
Attending and preparing for parent-teacher conferences and staff meetings

The successful candidate for this permanent Geography Teacher role will be teaching Key Stage 3 - 4 and ideally Key Stage 5. The ideal Geography Teacher/ Teacher of Geography will be passionate about the curriculum who is eager to find new and improved ways of teaching topics and sparking students' interests.
