Educate are hiring on behalf of one of our partner schools, looking to appoint an experienced, outstanding teacher to work in one of their specialist classes. All of the pupils are foundation phase age and have a range of complex developmental needs.
Candidates will need to be innovative, hard-working and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. They will need to have empathy for pupils with additional learning needs and be able to work successfully within a large team as well as collaborate effectively with parents and outside agencies.
Experience of working within a specialist setting would be advantageous.

Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
Follow school policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Requirements of a Primary Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage behaviour effectively
A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
Flexibility and adaptability
Registrations required to be a Primary Teacher:
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
