Purpose PeerVoice provides evidence-based medical education to healthcare professionals most in need of the knowledge, skills, and competence imparted by the education. Our mission is to facilitate the creation and distribution of clinically important medical education, to ensure access to the education by need-to-know clinicians, and to measure the outcomes and impact of the education. PeerVoice achieves this mission through our expertise in identifying gaps in education, content development, faculty selection, outcomes assessment, production and distribution for a variety of medical education formats (i.e, e-learning, video, and print). We believe in the development of innovative products and services that leverage at least one of our Group’s key assets in order to offer our clients a differentiated value proposition and build a sustainable competitive advantage. In addition, we believe that our individual target markets have special dynamics and circumstances which require market-specific expertise as well as influence in terms of how these products and services are launched and then enhanced over time. Our innovative, on-demand multichannel education solutions drive behaviour change in professionals and improve patient outcomes. All our OLA and CME activities adhere to the rigorous guidelines set forth for independent medical education. We publish medical education across a wide swath of medical specialties, including: Cardiology Dermatology Gastroenterology General and Family Practice Hematology Neurology Oncology Ophthalmology Psychiatry Respirology Rheumatology Urology Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal and external experts to complete the following key tasks: Create high-quality content for medical education activities that meet established timelines, specifications, and budgets (80%) Identify existing practice gaps and underlying unmet needs (10%) Develop strategic needs assessments/proposals that align these practice gaps and unmet needs with innovative solutions to address these needs (10%) Develop and maintain knowledge of important clinical issues and trends in assigned therapeutic areas. Establish, maintain, and leverage relationships with nationally and internationally recognised faculty experts. Work closely with the faculty presenters to develop high-quality, issue-specific, fair-balanced educational content for multimedia activities while meeting the project timelines. This includes creating and coordinating PPT slide development and moderating faculty audio and video recordings for multimedia education. Collaborate with the assigned project team to finalise the educational content, related visuals, and (for online) the audio, video, and animations, keeping to timelines and budget. Write needs-based learning objectives. Develop questions for post-tests, outcomes assessments, and learner surveys. Contribute to new business development by identifying clinical practice gaps and potential funders. Key Skills, Knowledge & Professional Education The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to work independently as well as part of a team and will be comfortable in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. While an advanced medical or science degree is preferred, candidates with 4+ years’ experience in the medical education field also will be considered. All candidates must demonstrate knowledge in several therapeutic areas, existing relationships with faculty experts, proven ability to obtain grant funding, and significant experience designing, writing, and editing clinical content for healthcare professionals. Specifically, our Medical Director will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in medical education. Knowledge of the rules and regulations overseeing other learning activities, as well as familiarity with current trends in the industry Capable of quickly learning about unfamiliar diseases/conditions Adept at researching, compiling, and analyzing clinical and scientific evidence quickly Solid editorial (writing and editing) skills and capability to adapt editorial style based on the educational format and/or the target audience (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals) Conversant in key/emerging issues in one or more of the above therapeutic areas and familiar with renowned experts and potential funder Expert at Microsoft PowerPoint and Word Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment. Proven ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple projects/assignments in various stages of development, and meet timelines, all while maintaining high quality standards. A positive, upbeat personality who communicates concisely and clearly, both in writing and verbally. Familiarity with AMA Style Guide. Additional assets: Experienced in identifying and obtaining grant funding for medical education. Solid background and experience in one or more therapeutic areas, as defined by the amount of confirmed grant funding and number of existing thought leader relationships and designed/developed educational activities Existing relationships with faculty experts
