KS2 Teaching Assistant Milk Education are working with primary schools in Sheffield who are seeking full-time KS2 Teaching Assistants to work in small groups, supporting with literacy & numeracy. We are looking for someone who is nurturing and accommodating to childrens learning needs to register to work with us. The hours of work are 08:30am- 15:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role will involve keeping children on task and ensuring that the work they're doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the child’s needs are being met. You will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the children. Teaching Assistant- Role & Responsibilities: Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate Deliver catch-up sessions Teaching Assistant Level- Non-negotiables: Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two years Must have a passion for education Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher Must be reliable and punctual Why choose Milk?
