Our clients are looking for nurturing individuals who want to inspire and have fun with the children. They provide a caring and educational environment and have a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.
As a before and After School Club Assistant you will be responsible for delivering a programme of activities for children aged 4-11yrs. You will need to prepare and be responsible for the collection to and from school. You will also be responsible for the wellbeing of the children in your care and make sure that strong relationships with children, parents and school are established and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Engaging in fun activities
Provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times.
Maintain ratios of all children attending the setting.
Complete and record all necessary admin as required.Qualities of the successful candidate:
Be inspirational, bringing fun and creativeness to the team.
Have a fun and energetic nature.
Be reliable and passionate over everything else.
Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years.
Be a people person with fantastic communication skills.
Have the ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard.
Have an enhanced DBS checkQualifications and Experience
Degree in early years education or related to childcare
CACHE Level 1, 2, 3 or equivalent
Experience in an early years setting would be advantageous or experience working in a childcare setting either in schools or care
