The Avaloq Tester will be responsible for all test activities throughout the testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts, with a specific focus on digital applications like Web-banking and Mobile-banking. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.

Key Responsibilities:nDefine Test Policy and Test Plan.nProvide effort estimations and track the test effort to ensure adequate staffing.nMonitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates.nReport progress to management and clients.nManage client relationships with appropriate communication.nManage defects and reporting.nDesign, update, and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability.nManage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness).

Must-Have Skills:nIn-depth knowledge of test concepts and methodology.nExperience and strong knowledge of the banking and/or finance industry or other regulatory environments.nFunctional knowledge of Web and Mobile banking.nExperience with Avaloq banking system solution.nWorking knowledge of MicroFocus QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-Have Skills:nTechnical knowledge of web and mobile applications.nExperience of testing in Agile contexts (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing).nISTQB Certification or equivalent.nRequired Soft Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills.nStrong analytical and problem-solving competences.nStructured and rigorous approach.nTeam player and strong client-orientation.nAbility and flexibility to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced, and complex environment.
