We are seeking an experienced and innovative mechanical design engineer to join our team for a contract position in the chemical/process sector. As part of this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for designing packaged equipment including structural steel, pressure vessels and piping.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform or coordinate mechanical design (structure, vessels, piping, equipment) for process packages, ensuring timely submission of the deliverable.
- Prepare and review design inputs, mechanical engineering deliverable, drawings, and reports.
- Ensure designs meet codes, standards, project specifications, and engineering practices.
- Resolve design issues with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Address customer comments and technical clarifications..
Qualifications/Skills Required :
To qualify for this role applicants should possess;
* Minimum of five year's experience working with Process industries
* Familiarity with ASME Codes, Staad Pro experience and PV elite experience
* Senior/ Principle Mechanical design engineering experience
Contract role - 12 months
