About the School:
Tradewind Secondary is seeking a reliable and experienced School Caretaker to join the dynamic site team at a bustling secondary school in Slough. With a vast campus and over 1000 students, the chosen candidate will enjoy a varied role within a supportive and friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily opening and closing of school facilities.
Conducting minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
Performing cleaning duties as necessary.
Setting up rooms and equipment for school events and activities.
Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
Supervising external contractors when required.
Candidate Requirements:
Solid basic maintenance skills with prior experience in a similar caretaker or facilities management role.
Strong communication abilities and proactive problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a school setting.
Position Details:
This is a long-term temporary to permanent role, working alongside a team of three. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility for events outside regular hours.
