Nursery Nurse

Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Nurse (Part Time)
Location: Derby (DE74)
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £12.83 - £13.50 per hour
Can you help children learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and story telling?
Can you listen to each child and support individual needs?
Can you plan and supervise fun and educational activities which are inclusive?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming, local nursery based in Derby (DE74) who are looking for a passionate and caring nursery nurse to support them part time. The working days are flexible due to your availability and the shifts are usually 7.30am – 6pm or 9am – 5pm.
The successful applicant will be supporting children with their daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime. They will plan and lead age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
The successful Nursery Nurse will have:
Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/Early Years or NNEB (required)
Previous experience working in a nursery (required)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A passion for working with young children and making a difference in their lives
Experience in personal care (feeding babies and changing nappies)
Exceptional knowledge of safeguarding
