Regional Procurement Category Manager UK&I.

This is a permanent role in

Hounslow.

As

Regional Procurement Category Manager UK&I , you will be focused on delivering world class results and a competitive advantage. You will contribute to the development of the Regional category strategy or will lead it for Regional sub-categories, whilst leading the sourcing cycle and bringing in breakthrough ideas through outstanding approaches. You will develop, support and implement all procurement strategic projects that are held globally.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the UKI team, reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you will:

Build and execute regional category strategies into sourcing and efficiency projects, and define the partner team required to successfully deliver the project plannDeliver cost reduction projects across regional spends and drive value improvement initiatives throughout the categorynEngage proactively with team members to understand current and future requirements and align on a unified approachnProvide information and impact assessments for Global Procurement teams to support Global procurement strategies and plans and execute them for the regionnAct in accordance with and bring to life the One Procurement Community (OPC) to enable our Journey to Procurement Excellence (JPE)nUndertake broad procurement responsibilities across category strategy and supply chain.

What are we looking for?

Graduate qualification or confirmed experience in procurementnPrevious functional Procurement experience in Professional Services, HR, Finance or Travel categoriesnProven track record of consistent performance and deliverynExcellent knowledge and experience of elite category management and sourcing practicesnStrong strategic category experience (strategy to execution) to establish credibility with internal and external partnersnExcellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills with a confident demeanournPositive demeanour and ability to make things happen to deliver outstanding resultsnStrong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with SAP and Office applicationsnStructured yet flexible approach while ensuring attention to detailnProficient project and organisational change capabilities
