What we need from you
Reporting to the Financial Controller of our Scotland Region, you will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in achieving accurate and timely accounting information; sound financial controls and financial process improvements, offering and delivering a consistent approach and service across Morgan Sindall.
- You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
- You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence or be within local distance to travel to our office at Eurocentral as the role is anticipated as predominantly office-based.
- Are you a part-qualified accountant or can demonstrate extensive experience in accountant management?
- You will be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified OR have the skills and experience at SCQF Level 10 (e.g., Degree level).
- Be able to demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills, along with knowledge in other Microsoft packages.
- Assist with a variety of reporting to include, but not exclusively, management accounts, overhead accounts, balance sheets, reconciliations, prepayments and accruals and cash control.
- Assist with cost reporting and control, and the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Preferably, you will be able to demonstrate experience in working with COINS.
