Interim NPD Manager

Interim NPD Manager - Food & Beverage Industry (2 Month Contract) £300-400 per day.


Are you an 'ideas person'... and have a passion for bringing innovative food products to market?


We're currently seeking an Interim NPD Manager to join one of our beverage clients teams based just outside of Harpenden.


In this role you will:

  • Lead the development of new food and drinks products from concept to launch
  • Support the team with product edits, based on customer requirements
  • Maintain market research and identify any emerging and reactive trends
  • Oversee and maintain the product development process, ensuring it meets quality and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with marketing, sales and production teams to ensure successful product launches and maturity campaigns


You'd be great for this role if you've got:

  • A proven track record in successfully implementing NPD projects within the food industry
  • Excellent time management and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of food trends and consumer preferences
  • Experience ideally working within a small but reactive business, ideally on other contracts (this contract element is not essential however)


This role is being offer on a contract basis to support the business whilst awaiting the arrival of their new NPD Manager, as such, the contract is not likely to be extended beyond the two month term.


This role could be carried out onsite, or with considerable home working. Due to the nature of the products, there could be an element of sampling and testing done from home in a controlled environment, for implementation onsite.


Start Date: Can be flexible, but the sooner the better

Contract Length: approximately 2 Months
