We are very excited to be growing our South West & Wales team at Bouygues UK and have a brilliant opportunity available for a Senior Site Manager to join us based on one of our long-term refurbishment projects based in Cardiff.

Job Purpose & Scope:
To ensure effective and efficient production within set timescales, including quality and safety management.
Accountabilities & Key Tasks:
Assist the Project Lead in the delivery of the Project.
Initiate per-start setup procedures including ordering site set-up, develop site wide RAMS and traffic plans, SWMP etc.
Input into subcontract procurement including selection per-order processing and appointment.
To manage the daily activities of subcontractors, in respect Of Health and Safety, Quality and programme.
To manage the costs associated with the works, and any variations should they arise in liaison with the Site Quantity Surveyors.
Lead weekly progress meetings and producing the required timeline of works / action points.
Responsible for quality control including the development and monitoring of quality plans.
Liaison with the client and representatives on a daily basis.
Subcontractor management to ensure projects are delivered on time and compliant.
Assist with procurement of subcontractors for post completion works.
Control of subcontractors and directly employed labour.
Liaison with the Client and their agents.
Review of ongoing works with a view to highlight potential defects.
Advising production teams on ‘lessons learnt’.
Assist with the preparation of O&M’s.
Lead daily Start Up meetings.
Manage the snagging/defects process.

Excellent communication skills
Excellent self-organisation skills and ability to organise others
Attention to detail
Ability to drive program
High levels of quality standards and attention to health and safety matters
Knowledge of UK building regulations
Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor
Financially aware
