About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Maths Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking school in Ware. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mostly Key Stage 3 (KS3) and one class of Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. This is a fixed-term contract for one year, starting in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
* Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students, providing constructive feedback.
* Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the maths curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
* Experience teaching maths at the secondary level is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
* Must live within the UK and be authorised to work in the UK.
* Must be committed to commuting to the school in Ware.
