The Opportunity:

As part of our engineering department, you'll play a pivotal role in driving continual improvements and solidifying our brand's position as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities include:
Servicing, maintaining, and installing equipment at customer sites nationwide.
Responding promptly and professionally to customer demands, working autonomously and as part of a wider team.
Installing new machines and providing operator training.
Liaising effectively with customers, colleagues, and the sales team.
Participating in training courses as required.
Regular travel and overnight stays may be necessary.Required Skills:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A recognized electrical engineering qualification.
Field engineering experience, with essential PLC interrogation experience (Siemens S7/TIA & OMRON).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
A full UK driving license and a polite telephone manner.
Self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure.Location and Package:
Ideally, you'll live within one hour of our HQ, although this is flexible based on the right candidate. The salary ranges from £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on experience and skill set. You'll enjoy a company-wide annual discretionary bonus scheme, guaranteed annual review, contributory pension scheme, 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a quality company vehicle, fully expensed mobile phone and iPad, and a generous expense policy.
