Senior Software Engineer - Python, Docker, Ansible, Terraform
This is an amazing once in a life time opportunity to join an incredible well established company who are innovative and heaving invested in R&D. Salary - 65k + Bens - Hybrid role - Nottingham.
We can consider remote workers for this role but some willingness and ability to attend in the Nottingham office would be preferred.
This is not just another senior software engineer role it's one which will provide you with an exciting opportunity where you will be challenged and rewarded in equal measure. This really is a great chance to lead a team, be a hands-on coder, plus be instrumental in advancing the departments way of working.
Do you have experience of python, docker, ansible and plus team leading and are looking for a new challenge? This amazing opportunity will see you take a lead role in an expanding innovative tech company who have been in existence over 30 years. Role and responsibilities:-
Team Leadership
Develop and code software
Undertake functional testing
Lead investigations in to product use scenario's
Translate customer requirements to technical requirements
Project planning and decide on resource allocation
Produce design/specifications to meet customer requirements
Experience of the methods and tools relating to IAC and CI/CD are desirable

Identify and participate in research activities to assist in advancing department ways of working.

Provide this line post sales support
Skills/experience required:-
Python skills and associated DevOps environment adjacent skills would be useful (K8s, Docker, Terraform, Ansible)

As a senior role we would ideally be looking for 5 years experience
