Our client is currently seeking a talented and motivated Business Development - Retention Consultant to join its busy Business Development Team.

About the role
The retention team, focusing on retail customers, plays a key role in supporting the business in achieving market leading retention rates.
If you are confident building rapport over the phone and via email, have good listening skills and are interested in entering a career in Business Development this is a fantastic opportunity for you.
The key functions of the role are:
Cancelled customers - customer cancellations are assessed and contacted where applicable to discuss their cancellation and potentially re-instate cover
Renewal queries - customers that have received their renewal information and would like to discuss other options. This could be amending products options or transferring to another product
Pro-active contact - review and contact direct customers prior to their renewal to offer support and discuss their options
Intermediaries - establish relationships with intermediaries to support them with renewal/retention-based queriesAbout you:

Whats on offer:
Starting salary is GBP26,117 post probation salary which will increase to GBP28014 Annual non-contractual bonus is also available. This role also has developmental opportunities.
Hours - Full time (37 hours), Monday to Friday,100% office based
