I am currently seeking a dedicated

Senior Biomedical Scientist

to join a Laboratory Diagnostics organisation based in

London . As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will collaborate closely with other senior team members, histology staff, and senior leadership to maintain operational excellence. Your role involves overseeing training, leading initiatives, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations

You will be responsible for:nEnsure specimens are processed and dispatched to the highest standards within agreed turnaround times.nAssist in managing workload and maintaining accuracy in work output.nServe as the lead Senior BMS for training within the laboratory, fostering the development of staff.nOversee IBMS portfolios, ensuring compliance and proficiency.nOrganise work schedules and supervise MLA’s, MTO’s & BMS’ to ensure efficient operations.nUndertake necessary training for continued growth and development.nUse and maintain histology equipment in compliance with department policies.nAdhere to Health and Safety regulations and safe laboratory procedures at all times.nParticipate in specimen dissection as required.nEngage in annual staff appraisals to support team development.

You will bring the following:nYou must be HCPC registered BMSnSolid understanding of histological techniques, Health & Safety codes, and laboratory IT systems. Experience with accreditation processes is desirable.nExperience in people management and exposure to managing junior Biomedical Scientist
