Sports Assistant / Sports Technician

*    Sports Assistant- 18.5 hours per week, term time only (£11.44 per hour)
*    Sports Technician- 35 hours per week, term time only (£11.50 per hour)

About the roles:
We are looking to appoint two candidates to join our thriving school to support the department as a Sports Assistant and a Sports Technician.
Sports Assistant responsibilities:
*    Teach and supervise groups during timetabled lessons (13:45 to 15:30)
*    Coach extracurricular sports training sessions
*    Supervise transport to sporting activities
*    Manage and coach school teams and cover P.E lessons in cases of staff absence
Sports Technician (strength and conditioning) responsibilities:
*    Teach groups during timetabled games lessons at our school playing fields
*    Supervise and coach extracurricular sports training sessions
*    Manage and coach teams
*    Maintain sports equipment and ensure storage rooms are kept tidy
*    Help with organisation and the general running of the sports department
*    Conduct gym induction sessions for sports participants
Our ideal candidates will have:
*    The appropriate qualifications in sports science, physical education, or a related field
*    Experience in managing and maintaining sports equipment
*    Strong admin skills and proficiency in ICT
*    Enthusiasm for promoting sports and physical activity
