Plant Hire Desk Controller

AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN FOR AN OFFICE BASED PLANT HIRE DESK CONTROLLER WITHIN NORTH WEST
We are currently looking for a plant hire desk controller who has experience within the plant hire and construction industry. This is a progressive role within an expanding business which would lead to a sales executive role in the future.
Role: Plant Hire Desk Controller
Salary: £24k - £26k depending on experience
Location: Rawtenstall

Role:
Assist in the hire of equipment to the construction industry
Deal with incoming calls and customer enquiries
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
Communicate effectively both verbally and written
Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues while also being able to work on your own initiative
Build sound working relationships with customers
Prepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements
Liaise with other departments to ensure availability of stock
Plan and organise a busy workload
Required:
Proven experience within the plant hire industry
Professional telephone manner
A desire to progress into a sales role
Computer literacy
