PM Group is looking for Process Engineer with Design & Plant-based experience to support a chemical site in Lancashire.

Responsibilitiesn· Fast-track development of a brownfield project to get to +/-30% capital cost estimaten· Engineering documentation including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs and / or modifications to existingn· Equipment lists, datasheets & design calculations for new and existing equipmentn· Scoping & Pricing equipment and presenting proposals to senior managementn· Development of risk assessments.n· Completion of all appropriate safety studies within defined timeframen· Other tasks in-keeping with the remit of a chemical engineering consultantn· Overseeing the Installation & Commissioning phases

Qualificationsn· Candidates must have proven experience of working as a process engineer primarily in bulk chemicalsn· Knowledge of standard industry practices, procedures and safety measures is essential, including a deep understanding of GMP and process safety practices.n· The successful candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to challenge and work with other technical engineers and project stakeholders.n· Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or other relevant discipline.n· Experience in process modelling software would be advantageous, particularly Aspen plus.

Off-Payroll Working RulesnThis role is believed to be outside IR35.
