Job Title:          English Co-Ordinator 
Location:          Wessex Lodge School, Frome 
Salary:              From £30,000 per annum
Hours:              40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hours to be discussed at interview)
Contract:          Fixed Term, Term Time only
UK applicants only.
We are looking for an English Co-Ordinator to join the team at Wessex Lodge School.
About the role
To provide the highest quality of education, care and preparation for life for all students in the school.
To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from teaching staff, focused on Reading and working closely with the Phonics lead. Knowledge and experience of the EIF particularly in relation to Reading.
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students in English and Reading. 
To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and behaviour focusing on English and Reading. 
To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Qualifications Required
Experience/ qualifications relevant to job role
Full UK Driving Licence
About us - Wessex Lodge School is growing
Wessex Lodge School currently comprises of two sites: Wessex Lodge School located in Frome, and Newmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley. Both sites allow students the opportunity to explore the curriculum alongside a range of subject paths, including the likes of, animal care, horticulture, DT, and forest school, as well as sporting activities.
Our students are aged between 8 and 18 years old. Each student has individual needs and, supported by the THRIVE approach, through a proven range of practitioner-led services and our talented staff, we can help to improve life outcomes for every student.
The established staff team come from a variety of previous occupations and have a vast range of individual skills, which can be utilised, within this school.
