About the Company We are working with a secondary school in Romford that is actively seeking a Teacher of Geography to join their team on a permanent basis from January . About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and understanding of the world. You will play a key role in inspiring students, promoting a love for Geography, and contributing to the department’s continued success. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding lessons in line with the curriculum. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development. Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs. Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and extracurricular activities. Contribute to whole-school initiatives and the wider school community. Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Geography or a related subject. Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum. Required Skills Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities. Strong organisational and planning abilities. Commitment to continuous professional development. Preferred Skills Experience teaching A-Level Geography (desirable). Experience in pastoral or form tutor responsibilities. Familiarity with current educational developments and best practices.
