City Site Solutions is currently working closely with one of Oxfordshire's most established and reputable mechanical contractors who are looking to recruit a mobile commercial & domestic gas service engineer.
Th client has been established since the early 1920s and throughout this time become one of Oxford's most well regarded mechanical contractors working on some exciting and prestigious projects including large private residences, schools, colleges and universities, commercial buildings, leisure, science, hospital and healthcare, government properties, and royal household and national trusts.
The candidate must be able to cover the central, southern & southeast counties.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Carry out Planned Maintenance to gas and oil boilers, heating, plumbing & ventilation systems in the commercial and domestic sector.
* Attend to repairs, breakdowns, and fault finding.
* Participate in the 24/7 call-out rota on rotation.
* Working at heights.
* You may be required from time to time to carry out installation of pipework & plumbing, replacing electro/mechanical component and installation of Plumbing Vents
* Capable of completing paperwork and following through on fault diagnosis, ordering spares, etc.
* Completion of reports, assist, prepare, and submit quotations to clients.
You must be able to demonstrate a proven work history for work you have done within mechanical and heating maintenance, repairs, and small works.
Ideally, you will have at least 10 years’ experience working in the building service industry working in a similar role (Negotiable)
Skills and Qualifications:
* Indentured Apprentice
* Up to date
* City & Guilds/NVQ
* Boiler/Burner Training
* Gas Safe Qualification - Domestic & Commercial works & pipework
* Oftec Qualification
* Unvented systems
* 16th Edition IEE - Wiring & Installation advantage
* Health & Safety Training
* BMS & Controls Experience advantage
* Must hold in date, commercial gas qualifications including; CODNC01 or COCN1.
* Domestic- CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1 - qualifications
