Your Role as Welding Team Leader:
* Lead and Inspire: Manage, coach, and develop a team of skilled professionals, driving them towards excellence in safety, production, and quality.
* Technical Expertise: Use your welding know-how and strong technical skills in TIG/MAG, GMAW, pipework assembly, and fabrication to troubleshoot and enhance operational performance.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards on all projects, working closely with the team to exceed client expectations.
* Safety Champion: Lead the charge on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives, making safety a top priority for your team.
* Innovate and Improve: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, safety, and overall performance.
* Client-Focused Excellence: Ensure all work is carried out to meet or exceed quality standards, while managing equipment and production processes with precision.
What You’ll Need:
* Recognised Welding Apprenticeship and solid experience in welding and fabrication.
* Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) processes (Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Testing, Visual Inspection, Post Weld Heat Treatment).
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* A commitment to safety, quality, and driving continuous improvement.
* CSWIP 3.1 certification (preferred or willing to work towards).
* IOSH Certificate (preferred).
Work Schedule:
* Monday & Wednesday: 07.45 – 16.30
* Tuesday & Thursday: 07.45 – 16.00
* Friday: 07.45 – 12.45 (Early finish)
