After creating a fantastic relationship with the Head Teacher and placing over 15 graduates at the school over the past few years - The Head Teacher is now eager to recruit the next round of graduates to inspire & raise attainment across the school.

What will you do as an Academic Mentor?

  • Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
  • Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across various subjects - dependant on your subject speciality
  • Support class teachers across different subjects and support students development academically

ACADEMIC MENTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

  • First Class Academic Mentor
  • School Direct Teaching opportunities
  • Range of opportunities to excel across the school within a specialist role
  • September 24 start - Full Time - Initially a contract role until end of academic year July 2025
  • £105 - £110 per day (Term Time Only)
  • Located in the Borough of Tower Hamlets

  • Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
