Due to this and our continued work winning success, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer experienced within water to join our team based in the North-west, in Northwich.nYou will be working closely with project managers, construction managers, and other stakeholders.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesnPreparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new businessnDeveloping and presenting project proposalsnMeeting with clients to find out their requirementsnProducing plans and estimating budgets and timescalesnDiscussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contractsnAgreeing budgets and timescales with the clientsnManaging construction schedules and budgetsnDealing with any unexpected costsnAttending site meetings to monitor progressnActing as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managersnWorking with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilitiesnMaking sure construction projects meet agreed technical standardsnLiaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client’s own representativesnOverseeing final accounts at the end of a projectnWorking on-site and in an office

Skills and ExperiencenDegree or HND qualified in Construction or Project Management. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.nWorking knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 / FIDIC contracts desirable.nAn understanding of the construction industrynAn understanding of legal documentationnMaths and IT knowledgenStrong leadership skillsnBusiness management skillsnThe ability to use your initiativenGood verbal communication skills.
