Milton Keynes, United Kingdom EKFB Full time
About The Role
At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
We’re recruiting for a Cultural and Behavioural Change Project Manager to continue our drive for high performance, empowering our people to make the right decision on the largest civil engineering works in the UK. This position will work across the entire trace of our HS2 project from Wendover to Greatworth. A central base of either Milton Keynes or Brackley can be accommodated with travel to our site teams. As our sites are remote from towns and villages, we do ask that you hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle to be able to get to the locations.
You will be planning and communicating interventions and key requirements, whilst managing key stakeholders and their expectations.
You will be working with the EKFB training Team to support our induction programme, where you will be expected to manage the induction suppliers, refining the content and delivery strategy. Alongside this you will be managing the relationship of our Induction Facility Managing Agent to monitor any maintenance or day to day issues.
As a Cultural Change Project Manager, you will be involved in our pulse roadshows which develop collaboration with the supplier and subject matter experts. You will be required to liaise with site contracts to arrange and implement the timetable for delivery across all the project areas. During these sessions you will work with the Managing Director and other key member of the SLT to develop and deliver (to both internal and external) seminars and workshops for the integrated project leadership team, focusing on effective leadership and creating a performance culture. You will also be working alongside the executive assistant team to arrange the deliveries of interventions.
You will be required to attend Ad-Hoc culture and performance events to develop and implement both in-house and external events/ interventions targeting specific demographics, activities, or key trends.
A vital part of this role is that you represent EKFB at the forum, liaising with HS2 Safety Culture Working Group to provide insight from interventions and shared learning, to provide a voice on EKFB’s views relevant matters. In liaison with HS2, you will be required to roll out the annual HSE Safety Climate Tool Survey, analyse the results and feedback to the business and HS2 on plans for improvement.
You will also be involved in continual business performance improvement by undertaking research into the field of human factors, culture and performance from other industries and other available scientific resources. From your research you will be required to suggest and implement interventions and changes to physical environments, or processes based on research to contribute to the improvement of overall performance.
About The Candidate
Passion for and baseline understanding of Human Factors / Culture / Performance Environments
Creativity to develop new ideas for interventions to keep content and delivery fresh and engaging
Strong project management and organisational skills including supplier management and negotiation
Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communicator
Proficient in the use of MS Office Packages
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
