Their wider Planning & Environmental team delivers legal advice across both contentious and non-contentious matters to clients in the public and private sectors. The environmental practice has grown significantly over recent years, and with ambitious plans for further expansion across the UK, they now seek a senior legal professional to join the team and help lead its next phase of development. Role & Responsibilities – Advise clients on a broad range of environmental matters — regulatory, compliance, due-diligence and litigation where relevant. – Take responsibility for environmental due diligence in commercial and corporate transactions. – Manage and maintain high-value client relationships, and develop new business opportunities across sectors. – Contribute to marketing initiatives, support business development and grow the team’s profile. – Ensure high standards of file management and team mentoring/training of junior staff. What You Will Bring – A qualified solicitor with a minimum of around 5 years’ post-qualification experience in environmental law. – Excellent technical legal capability, with a strong academic background and attention to detail. – Strong business acumen and strategic foresight, with the confidence and professionalism to engage effectively with clients at all levels. Highly organised and detail-driven, with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine focus on providing a first-class client experience. Why This Role?
