This business are a prime residential refurbishment specialist whose project portfolio is located in some of London’s most sought after areas. Their uncompromising quality of finish and strong end user relationships have helped them to build a strong reputation for delivery and customer service. Typical projects well encompass structural alterations, cut and carve, temporary works, façade retention and basement excavations through to prime internal fit out and restorations. They are well versed in working on listed residences tasked with restoring and maintaining beautiful character properties using the best master craftsmen available.
They do tender and win a respectable amount of work however the bulk of their projects come from recommendations and referrals ranging from the end user to client-side project management, PQS’, architects and interiors designers.
They also spend a lot of time investing in their own staff and company with their low churn rate of staff being testament their approach. They pride themselves on looking after everyone who works with the business, not only are they provided with high quality and stimulating projects to deliver, they are given the tools and team to do so. They have a track record of putting people through external qualifications such as degrees and masters if they wants to.

Project: High end residential refurbishment
Client: Private client
Location: South West London
Contract value: £6m approx.
Scope of works: Refurbishment of a private detached residence, single basement excavation, pilling and underpinning. Refurbishment of the main property with a roof removal and reinstatement. There is an extensive landscaping package with the construction of ancillary leisure buildings including excavation for a new pool and pool house. This project is being completed to a very high standard with bespoke finishes throughout.
Position: Senior Site Manager/ Project Manager
We are currently looking for a manager to lead this project, the successful candidate will initially based out of their office and will be working on the pre-construction of this secured project before going onto site to lead the job. They will be assisted with an established site team and be reporting to a visiting contracts manager.
Responsibilities will include:
* Management of site workers and subcontractors.
* Ensuring Health & safety on site is correct.
* Work permits.
* Schedule and order all project related materials.
* Toolbox talks.
* Site inductions.
* Review and prepare project status reports.
* Chair site meetings.
* Maintaining quality control procedures.
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise.
* Short term programme look ahead.
* Progress report.
* Construction related and health & safety paperwork.
* Liaise with Clients ensuring the client expectations are managed proactively and constructively and that clients are kept informed and aware of the project status throughout.
* Preparation and vetting Risk Assessment and Method Statements
