Up Front Recruitment is looking to speak with an experienced Civils Estimator for a company based in Luton. They are one of the most well-respected and civil engineering in the region.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator located in Luton. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing project requirements, reviewing plans and specifications, preparing cost estimates, and providing accurate and detailed project proposals. The Estimator will also collaborate closely with the project management team and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely estimates taking tenders from start to finish.
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge and experience in civil estimating
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Proficient in using estimating software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in civil engineering or construction industry
• Knowledge of groundworks
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
