This leading Business Advisory firm are looking to create an Insolvency \ Restructuring offering in the Thames Valley.

This they want to do by leveraging a very strong and well-established Corporate Finance business and the longstanding relationships, that have been garnered over many years. In addition to this you will have the support of an expansive and revered insolvency and restructuring team within the firm.

This is a very unique opportunity and would enable you to build something from scratch, on a set of very strong foundations.

Heading-up the Restructuring Advisory Services team, you will be responsible for developing new and existing clients and intermediary relationships to provide restructuring and recovery advice.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Providing suitable strategic and technical advice and guidance to clients about restructuring and advisory services (including business restructuring, corporate advisory, insolvency, refinancing and exit management, and creditor services).

Understanding and be able to evaluate the client's situation and tailor the advice according to their specific needs providing clear and technically accurate documentation and key transaction documents.

Understand and be able to evaluate the impact of market and general economic indicators and identify any necessary changes to proposed tax advice.

Able to provide support to clients in their negotiations, liaising with other advisers, co-ordinating their activities where necessary and anticipating and suggesting appropriate solutions to any challenges arising.

Able to oversee the reports and advice given by the team and review, edit and authorise key documents.

To be successful in this role, you should:

Currently hold or have the necessary qualifications and experience to achieve an insolvency practitioner's license.

Relevant professional qualification(s) i.e. ACA / ACCA / JIEB (Joint Insolvency Examinations).

Significant experience gained within a professional services firm or boutique, advising corporate and/or private clients on issues relating to restructuring advisory services

Demonstrable experience of originating and developing profitable and long-term client and intermediary relationships.

Strong technical leadership.

Experience and knowledge of staff management.

Strong communication and inter-personal skills.

Excellent marketing and business development skills, as well as a strong commercial awareness.
