Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber.

Our client is a long standing Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company who have a strong presence in the South of England. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber. The successful candidate will have experience working on Commercial, Industrial, and Leisure sites. This role would suit someone looking to join a continuously expanding company who can provide tailored training plans into other aspects of water treatment, opportunities for overtime with excellent rates, generous holiday allowance and company pension scheme.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Woking, Bracknell, Windsor, Reading, Windsor, Slough, Reigate, Epsom, Crawley, Haslemere, Horsham, Croydon, Dartford, Chatham, Gillingham, Gravesend, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Canterbury.
Experience & Qualifications:
Holding an industry relevant qualification is essential to the role, e.g., City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing.
Experience working for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company, working as an engineer / plumber.
Will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
Able to communicate with clients and work colleagues efficiently.
Excellent time management skills.
The Role:
Carrying out installations, repairing and servicing of TMVs.
Cleans, disinfection, install and chlorination of CWST.
Undertaking deadleg removals.
Installing, removing, and rerouting of pipework, PVC and copper.
Installing expansion vessels.
Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
Calorifier endoscopic inspections.
Failsafe testing.
Mains injections.
Carrying out fault finding on site, ensuring any issues are rectified in a timely manner.
Carrying out closed system analysis and dosing.
Flushing of little used outlets.
Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
Ensuring to fill out onsite log books upon completion of work.
