Biology Teacher

Overview: Integra Education, a leading supply agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Biology Specialist Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Liverpool. Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive biology lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
* Engage students through innovative teaching methods, practical demonstrations, and stimulating activities.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work, share best practices, and contribute to departmental initiatives.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behavior.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Specialism in Biology with a strong academic background in the subject.
* Experience teaching biology in a secondary school setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and the school.
