Role: HGV Technician Location: Avonmouth Hours: 40 hours per week Pay: £18 - £21 per hour What Youll Be Doing: Conducting routine servicing and maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Carrying out inspections in line with DVSA standards Working as part of a team to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and ready for customers Maintaining accurate records of all work complete What Were Looking For: Level 3 Qualified in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) Proven experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles A proactive, can-do attitude and a team player mindset Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Basic computer literacy for diagnostics and work logs Benefits £2,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid after successful completion of probation) 22 days holiday + your birthday off Private medical cover £500 Snap-On voucher per year for technicians Full training & development Uniform provided Modern, fully equipped workshop with a supportive team culture Working Hours & Shifts: Alternating weekly shifts: Early shift: 06:00 14:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch) Late shift: 13:30 22:00 (30-minute unpaid lunch) Saturday work: 1 Saturday/month, typically 07:00 12:00 We're exploring a rotation system for Saturdays as our team grows.
